Description
This was one of the concepts presented for a brand new endeavor called Creators Lab. This group is one that NBCUniversal pairs up media agencies with non-profits that have a need for professional quality partnerships, but perhaps lack the funding to do so.
Concept
Strategically it's based on the idea we are all part of one whole. As such, a grid was developed indicating we are all part of the same grid of existence. All design, type, and graphics adhered to and came from the idea of building blocks.
Execution
We started with a brand logo and a custom typeface design to reflect the experimentally creative mission. What is suggested is, a permanent office space where collaboration and events can take place, while new relationships could be developed. A place that takes creative risks with the spirit of being educational and engaging, while simultaneously connecting media companies and non-profits in the promotion of the common good. Although not ultimately used, the exploratory drove employee collaboration towards helping others.
